Capitalism = Freedom

Oprah Winfrey interviewed the duke and duchess of Sussex.

And people went nuts.

Why?

I’m not really sure.

I don’t really follow “royal family” news. Although, quite frankly, I’m surprised so many people in this country do.

After all, historically speaking, we don’t tend to be particularly bullish on monarchs. Even if they really don’t have any bite to their bark, just the optics of this stuff don’t really vibe with our history of giving the proverbial middle finger to kings and queens.

Of course, the argument could be made that we do fawn over our own version of kings and queens. It’s just that we don’t use those monikers.

Instead, we call them “democratically elected lawmakers.” And then, for the most part, we treat them as if they’re these omniscient beings who can save us from whatever the threat of the day is.

In many cases, we even idolize them.

Of course, idolizing a lawmaker is like believing a stripper really likes you.

And that’s how they like it.

It’s job security.

Just do enough to not get fired.

Always leave them wanting more.

It’s the circadian rhythm of sharks and swindlers.

And their intentions are almost never honorable.

Yet so many people in this country buy their snake oil, oftentimes thinking this time it’ll be different.

I just don’t get it.

Especially when it comes to looking out for the financial well-being of voters.

I suppose this is the great thing about free market capitalism, though: It doesn’t waver. Its existence does not depend on personal opinions or partisan buffoonery. It’s merely a mechanism of prosperity that’s available to anyone who wants to use it.

It won’t judge you.

It won’t do you wrong.

And it won’t lie to you.

It can’t, as there’s no indecisiveness about its purpose.

It’s black and white.

It’s supply and demand.

It’s freedom.

And quite frankly, I’m tired of so many people — particularly those who hero-worship politicians — decrying it as unfair.

Folks, there is nothing fairer than a free market. And those who don’t accept that truism are condemned to a life of mediocrity and, in many cases, poverty.

If that’s how someone chooses to live, so be it.

But for me, I’m using this beautiful thing called capitalism to not only build my wealth but to help you build your wealth too. And I make zero apologies for this.

If you’re also an unapologetic supporter of free market capitalism, I urge you to click here now and take full advantage of the freedom you have to use it.

To a new way of life and a new generation of wealth…
